Em MUSEUM PIECE, um passeio turístico e as imagens de um hotel alemão provocam uma série de reflexões sobre acontecimentos de pequena e grande escala. Entretanto, continua a decorrer a guerra no Iraque.

While the Iraq war continues, a day’s sightseeing and the features of a German hotel provoke a stream of thoughts about events large and small.
DYING LIVING WOMAN utiliza imagens de um filme de culto: “A Noite dos Mortos Vivos”. Nesse filme, uma rapariga é perseguida por um exército de mortos-vivos. A imagem da rapariga irá alterar-se, já que ela ficará na posição do fantasma. A referência não é obliterada, mas antes invertida.
DYING LIVING WOMAN
This film uses images from a well known movie: «The night of the living-dead», a cult horror movie.
The cinema toys with our fascination by a realistic scene to which we can identify. The realistic representation of an impossible situation or action is very spectacular. It can be either spectacularly beautiful or spectacularly horrific. The second option is more unifying ; beauty remains more subjective. Thus a horror movie is especially spectacular and this one in particular, since it creates what we expect from the cinema: to revive the dead.

TERTIUM NON DATUR: Final da Segunda Guerra Mundial. Estepes ucranianas. As tropas alemãs e romenas batem em retirada com o avanço do imparável exército vermelho. Uma unidade militar romena monta o seu quartel-general numa escola abandonada. Os soldados sentam-se em frente a mapas agora inúteis, aguardando o desastre. Subitamente, é anunciada a chegada de oficiais alemães. Renova-se a esperança: irão receber novas ordens? Haverá contra-ataque? O caos da retirada irá ter fim? Mas cedo virá o desapontamento…

The Ukranian steppe, toward the end of World War II. The German and Romanian troops are retreating in the face of the unstoppable Red Army. In a deserted school, a Romanian military unit has set up its headquarters. In front of maps become useless, the Romanian officers are awaiting disaster. A visit of a high ranking Wehrmacht officers is suddenly announced. Hope is awakened: will they receive new orders? Will they counterattack? Will the chaos of retreat end?
