DIRECTORS

RUI PEREIRA was born in Luanda, Angola, in 1974. He has a degree in Managment. He was a funding member and president of geniuzastare – a non profit organization. He was the curator of a programme about “Cinema and BD” for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. At this moment he is the founder, coordinator and the main programmer of Zero em Comportamento - a non profit organization. He is the director of the cinema magazine Zero_Mag. He is also Acquisitions Assistant and Programmer at film distributor Atalanta Filmes.

NUNO SENA was born in Lisbon, in 1969. He got his degree in Communication Sciences (specialised in Cinema/ Audiovisual). From 1996 to 1998 he was a Direction’s assistant of Portuguese Insitute of Cinema, performing functions in the national and international promotion of the Portuguese cinema. He directed the Portuguese Film Archive Permanent Exhibition Department, coordinating all the program, edition and exhibition events of this institution from August of 1998 to June of 2003. At this moment he has editorial functions in Lexicultural, he’s a teacher in Restart and collaborates with DocLisboa.

MIGUEL VALVERDE was born in Portimão, in 1971. In 1994 he concluded is Law Degree in the Lisbon Law University. In 1998 he was invited to program short films to Algarve International Film Festival, witch he did until 2003. Nowadays he’s a programmer of Skopje International Film Festival (Macedonia), Zero em Comportamento (a Portuguese Cultural Association) and Restart (a creative school regarding new technologies). He’s also a teacher in CITEN’s (Calouste Gulbenkian Fundation) writing course applied to cartoons and Animation Cinema and he’s a permanent collaborator of ZeroMag (a free magazine), where he writes about cinema.

PRODUCTION

ANA TERESA REAL was born in 1966. She has studied Companies Management, Design andScenography. Since 1992 she’s been working in Artistic Production and Management, in projects such as EXPO 98 and other Music, Dance and Film Festivals. She often works with Cultutal Institutuions such as Real Pelágio Productions and she’s a funding member of Ur, a production and management of cultural projects company, witch among other activities publishes NADA magazine – dedicated to art and science.
